ApoC3 KO mice
These ApoC3 KO mice can be used to study the role of APoC3 in lipid metabolism.
Technology No. HUS02-16
ApoC3 knockout mice are valuable for understanding the role of apolipoprotein C-III (apoC3) in lipid metabolism and its implications for cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. ApoC3 is known to inhibit lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hepatic uptake of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins. By knocking out the apoC3 gene, researchers can observe changes in lipid metabolism, including alterations in plasma triglyceride levels and the clearance of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins.
