Never Look Away Training Seminar, January-March 2024

The Never Look Away Trauma Training Program is an animated video training series comprised of 9 live modules with an accompanying curriculum to teach key concepts and skills on trauma-informed care, in a highly engaging, interactive fashion. The series centers on two characters: Ethan and Angela; children who have experienced traumatic events and subsequently have significant problems related to their sense of safety and security in their environment. The series engages participants to consider how to help these children – and the great many children like them – to feel safe and secure in their worlds. Each session also includes break out discussions in which attendees apply the concepts to actual children they are working with or have worked with.

Registration allows participants access to all six sessions of the full training series, which will be held on:

• Tuesday, 2/6
• Tuesday, 2/23
• Tuesday, 2/20
• Tuesday, 2/27
• Tuesday, 3/5

This series is reasonably priced at $200 for attendees. For managers/supervisors who would like to coordinate multiple team members attending this training program, there are group rates we can offer:

• 2-10 participants from the same organization: $190 registration fee per participant
• 10-25 participants: $180
• 25 or more participants: $150

Once your order is complete, participants must then register through Zoom, zoom registration link will be included in the order confirmation email.

ASWB/ACE Approved Provider of Continuing Education Contact Hours

This organization (NYU Silver School of Social Work, 1415) is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. NYU Silver School of Social Work maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 11/11/22 - 11/11/25. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits. 55 jurisdictions accept ACE-approved provider CE contact hours. ACE is not an approved Continuing Education provider in the states of New York (though NYU Silver is NYSED CE approved in NYS) and West Virginia, unless the event is outside of West VA. ACE only approves individual courses in New Jersey, though NYU Silver is CSWE-accredited and therefore accepted for licensed NJ professionals.
